How this works — and why it's private

The trim happens entirely in your browser using HTML5 video + MediaRecorder. Your file is never uploaded.
Output is WebM (VP9/Opus when available) — small files with good quality.
The clip is re-encoded in real time, so a 30-second trim takes about 30 seconds.
