The short version
- We never see your files. Every tool — image converters, PDF editors, audio tools, everything — runs 100% in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly.
- No accounts. You do not need to sign up, log in, or give us an email.
- Minimal analytics. We measure page visits and country (via aggregated, cookie-light analytics) to understand which tools people find useful. No fingerprinting.
- No ads, no data selling. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers or third parties.
What we collect
1. Anonymous usage analytics
When you visit Bluebird, our hosting provider records basic, non-identifying information: page URL visited, referring website, country (derived from IP — the IP itself is not retained long-term), device type (desktop / mobile), and session duration. This helps us understand which tools to improve.
2. Local browser storage
Bluebird uses your browser's localStorage to remember your preferences — favorite tools, recent tools, cookie-banner dismissal, and per-tool settings. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it any time from your browser settings.
3. Contact & submission forms
If you email us or submit a tool through /submit-a-tool, we keep your message and email address to reply and to credit contributors. We do not add you to any marketing list.
What we do NOT collect
- Your uploaded files, images, PDFs, audio, or video — these are processed in your browser and never sent to us.
- Login credentials, payment details, or government IDs (we do not ask for them).
- Location beyond country-level analytics.
- Data from third-party trackers, advertising networks, or social-media pixels.
Third-party services
Bluebird is served through Cloudflare and uses Supabase for limited backend infrastructure. Aggregate, anonymous request metrics from our hosting layer are the only analytics we see. We do not embed Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar trackers.
Some tools may fetch public data from third-party sources (for example, the DNS lookup tool queries public DNS resolvers). Those requests are made directly from your browser to the third party — we do not proxy or log them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU, DPDP in India, CCPA in California, and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we hold almost nothing beyond aggregated analytics and any email you sent us, deletion is usually a matter of us removing an email thread. Email Pankajchavan944@gmail.com to request this.
Children
Bluebird is safe for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. Tools are designed so kids can use them without creating an account.
Security
Bluebird is served over HTTPS. Because your files never leave your device, the biggest privacy protection is the architecture itself — there is no server-side file store that could be breached.
Changes to this policy
We will update the "last updated" date above whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be announced on the changelog.
